This is the first time I've taken the Sequoia out on the trails when it was actually raining. Creeks that were just a trickle during the drought of summer were filled with rushing water. Although the weather forecast had been for afternoon sunny breaks, the weather turned quite stormy and rain fell heavily. 

I went to pick up more stones for our garden and this is the quarry at 16 km on the Lost Creek FSR where I get them. On the night of October 11, there were conservation officers checking traffic in and out of the trail, but they weren't there the next morning.

The creeks aren't dry any more. This is the quarry where I get stones for our garden. You can see how hard it was raining from the water that's running down the mountain in the back.
