Even though I sold the Passat awhile ago, I still can't stay away from the Volkswagen forums. The latest hot mod for all VWs is the mini-flashlight which comes as standard equipment on the VW Touareg SUV. It's a LED flashlight that fits into the 12-volt lighter outlet so that it's constantly being recharged as you drive. Luckily, it comes pre-charged from the factory so I was able to start using it right away. To turn it on, all you do is give it a twist. As you can see from the pictures, the light beam is very bright and focused and very "white" looking with a hint of blue around the edges.
