Summary:
In preparation for our road trip to Edmonton, I ordered a hood deflector from the dealership. The item was actually backordered in Toronto so it took about 3 weeks to arrive. I'm really happy
with my dealership because it actually came in a bit earlier than they predicted. (I had also called another dealership and they wanted me to pay first, didn't know when it would arrive until I paid, and was going to charge me more
.)
Procedure:
A 2-page instruction sheet is included and shows 8 steps to install the deflector. It's very simple, the fit is perfect, and there are no holes to drill.
Step 1 Steps 2, 3, 4 Steps 5, 6, 7 and 8 Notes:
- I had to spread apart the wing clips a little, otherwise the fit was too tight and it seemed it could have damaged the hood if I forced them on. The two wing clips are the only parts that actually touch the outside of the hood (there are plastic strips you need to place to protect the paint) and they hold the deflector away from the hood to prevent rubbing damage while you are driving. It's a better design than some other deflectors I've seen.

* I wonder if they'll remember that when they change the oil?
